"I've just had my site deleted from a ring because I had to delete the NavBar code from my site due to the ring server not behaving. It was not responding and causing my site to load very, very slowly or not to load at all!"
I actually created a "WebRing" page (something I've always discouraged as an RM) for my NavBars because of this problem. Like you, I felt as if I had no choice... My site and my business was suffering.

"I have seen no replies or acknowledgement whatsoever to other posts reporting this problem of servers not responding."
There has now been an acknowledgement of the problem, and there is ongoing effort on the part of WebRing to correct the situation. See the post by 'system' here:

"I am sorry, but I cannot tell my customers that the site is down and that they will have to wait for the Avon lady before it can be got running again."
The person to whom you are referring is (was?) a VOLUNTEER, giving freely of her spare time to HELP as many of us as she possibly could. Don't bite the hand that feeds you! LOL!
